Roles and Responsibilities


1. Requirement Gathering: o Collaborate with stakeholders (internal teams, clients, and regulators) to gather, document, and analyse business requirements. o Understand the firm's stockbroking operations, including trading platforms, compliance systems, back-office processes, and client interactions. 2. Process Improvement: o Analyses and evaluate existing processes related to stockbroking, such as order management, risk management, settlement, and reporting. o Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity. 3. System Implementation and Support: o Work closely with IT teams to implement new software solutions or enhance existing systems (trading platforms, risk management systems, etc.). o Conduct system testing (UAT) to ensure changes align with business requirements. o Provide post-implementation support and ensure a smooth transition for users. 4. Data Analysis and Reporting: o Perform data analysis to support business decisions, focusing on market trends, trading performance, client behaviour, and operational performance. o Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business heads, risk managers, and compliance teams. 5. Compliance and Regulatory Alignment: o Ensure all business processes and technological changes comply with regulatory requirements set by SEBI, exchanges (NSE, BSE), and other regulatory bodies. o Assist in regulatory reporting and audits. 6. Client and Stakeholder Communication: o Act as the liaison between business teams, clients, and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals. o Address client queries related to stockbroking products, trading systems, and processes. 7. Market Research and Strategy: o Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes in the stockbroking industry. o Provide insights on how the firm can leverage emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, algorithmic trading) to stay competitive. 8. Project Management: o Lead or assist in project management for new initiatives, including platform upgrades, system integrations, and process overhauls. o Create detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
