• Technical Support: Provide first-line support to users for hardware, software, and network issues, resolving technical problems efficiently and effectively.
• System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including trading platforms, databases, and communication systems.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance and security, generating reports and alerts for potential issues or improvements.
• User Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on new technologies, systems, and best practices to enhance productivity and compliance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, system configurations, and user manuals to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.
• Collaboration: Work with other IT team members on projects and initiatives to enhance the overall technology infrastructure.
• Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to technology and data security.
• Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors for hardware/software procurement, support, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) preferred.
• Experience: [1-3 years] of experience in IT support, preferably within the financial services or stockbroking sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and common trading platforms. Familiarity with database management and cybersecurity practices is a plus.
